Monica Petit is the Founder and Event Director for Lady of Decorum - Event Services.
Once upon a time, in a pivotal moment of Monica's life, she found herself facing unexpected challenges. Just as she entered into the beautiful journey of motherhood, Monica was laid off during her maternity leave. It was a tough blow, but instead of letting it define her, Monica made a brave decision. She vowed to never depend on a job again and decided to take matters into her own hands.
Drawing from her previous experiences in hospitality and events, Monica discovered a passion that ignited her entrepreneurial spirit. She saw an opportunity to create something truly special and meaningful. And that's how the idea of Lady of Decorum was born.
With Lady of Decorum, Monica wanted to bring a touch of elegance and grace to every event. She wanted to infuse her unique expertise and personal touch into creating unforgettable moments for her clients. But it didn't stop there.
Monica's true inspiration came from her desire to make a difference in the lives of others. She wanted to ensure her target audience, the amazing brides-to-be, felt seen, heard, and cared for. Monica recognized the stress and overwhelm that often accompanies wedding planning, so she committed herself to going above and beyond to accommodate her clients' needs.

She graduated from Ashworth College with an Event Planning focus.
